Life Insurance

Life insurance offers financial security for you and your family. It can help fill the gap left by your death.

Simply stated, it pays money (called the death benefit) to your family or business (called beneficiaries) in the event of your death, if you are the insured.

If you don't already have life insurance, you should consider it. Because whether you want to think about it or not, things have to go on without you.

Conseco offers four types of life insurance products:

Term Life Insurance
Straightforward coverage that covers you for a set period of time.

Indexed UL Insurance
Permanent coverage with a cash value tied to the markets

Whole Life Insurance
Permanent coverage that builds cash value with guaranteed premiums

Universal Life Insurance
Permanent coverage that's flexible to meet your needs and builds cash value

Compare Policy Types

A person should have life insurance that equals five to seven times his or her annual gross income. 1

Money that accumulates in a universal life insurance policy grows tax-deferred.

Under current tax laws, generally there is no federal income tax on death benefits paid to a named beneficiary.
