Accidental injuries can come with a lot of extra expenses − not just health bills, but lost wages, child care, car repair, etc. With UnitedHealthOne Accident+Plus, you'll know your budget will have some extra padding in case you get hurt in an accident. (Only available in Arizona, Ohio, and Missouri)
The accident insurance plan doesn’t reimburse hospitals for your medical costs. If you have a qualified injury, they’ll send a benefit check straight to you. You can use the money for whatever you need—to help with your copayments and deductible, or for property damage, or lost wages. It’s a little added protection.
In addition to paying benefits for specific injuries, the accident plan can pay you for each day you spend in the hospital, as well as follow-up visits or other injury-related costs. It can even help cover the cost of transportation if treatment isn’t available locally. Or hotel costs for an immediate family member if you’re injured while traveling away from home.
