UnitedHealthOne Dental Indemnity

The dental indemnity plan is a flexible dental insurance plan. It lets you visit any dentist, anywhere -- no network to worry about. Plus, it has no deductible or coinsurance. Instead, it pays you a flat fee for the specific dental procedures you receive.

Simply put, you pay your dentist, and we pay you back. (You have to make up the cost difference, if any, between your dentist’s fee and what the benefit pays you.)

Benefit Levels (what we pay you)

Notes: These are your benefits, not costs. If your dentist's fee is more than the benefit, you make up the cost difference. Only one "Wellness" procedure per visit is eligible for a benefit payment. The same applies for "Routine X-ray" procedures. See the brochure for details.

With this indemnity plan, you can add a cosmetic dental option, an orthodontic option, and/or a vision option. All of them work the same as the indemnity dental plan: no network, just flat fees paid directly to you for the eligible services you receive. The cosmetic option has a $1,800 lifetime maximum benefit per person, and the orthodontic option has a $1,200 lifetime maximum benefit per person.

Whether you choose the dental coverage only or you include all the add-ons, the dental indemnity plan offers you plenty of options and flexibility.

Limitations and exclusions apply. For more details about this dental plan, read through the product brochure.
